Just a few months ago in my February 14 Gnomeo & Juliet blog, I said I would like to see it again. As such I was thrilled when my preview copy of Gnomeo & Juliet, about to be released on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD, Movie Download, and On-Demand, arrived yesterday.

This movie is the perfect choice for family viewing. The 2-disc combo pack I received included both Blu-ray and DVD copies. I love hi-def, but it doesn?t always work when traveling light. Too few hotels and absolutely no airlines offer DVD players so most of us have to rely on our personal computers. The 2-disc value and flexibility now means the best of worlds?home theater and out and about playbacks.

Great songs, stars James Mcavoy and Emily Blunt, a fantastic supporting cast, real wit, and a cute take on a timeless story of obstacle sand animosity between feuding clans make Gnomeo & Juliet work. This is one G-rated funny take with a twist on Will Shakespeare?s classic Romeo and Juliet.

The supporting cast includes big names like Michael Caine, Ozzy Osbourne, Patrick Stewart, Hulk Hogan, Dolly Parton along with up and coming ones like Ashley jensen, Matt Lucas, Jim Cummings, Maggie Smith, Jason Slatham, Stephen Merchant, Julie waters, Kelly Asbury, Richard Wilson, Juliua Braams, James Daniel Wilson. Tim Bentench, Julio Bonet, Neil McCaul, and Marissa Horwitz. Wow! That is really star-studded.

The fantastic music of Sir Elton John includes hit uptakes on his Your Song, Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Benny and the Jets, Don?t Go Breaking My Heart Crocodile Rock, Hello Hello along with NEW Love Builds a Garden. Add to that James Newton Howard?s Juliet, Dandelion, Bennie and the Bunnies, Terraferminator. Sprinkle in Disney tradition It?s a Small World and Tiki Room for listening fun.

Gnomeo & Juliet becomes available to the public for purchase in stores nationwide and online May 24. With a list of $29.99, its 2-disc combo pack offers a lot. Bonus feature only on Blu-ray two alternate endings, two alternate openings, six deleted scenes, and more. The Fawn of Darkness featuring Ozzy Osbourne?interesting, very interesting.

Hours of exclusive bonus features extend the 84 minute feature to the max. Elton Builds a Garden, Frog Talk with Ashley Jensen, and the Crocodile Rock music video featuring Elton John and Nelly Furtado truly interest and entertain.
