My desk has gone from a messy dumping ground to a neat, welcoming space where every last paper now has a place. I owe this organizing miracle to Pendaflex. I had the opportunity to try several Pendaflex Products as part of the Pendaflex Spring Free Program. While the thought of tackling the mess was not pleasant, the actual outcome is pretty amazing.
My Desk Before
I had my bills stuffed in my top left drawer and my coupons on the desk to my left in a pile. Any paperwork related to this blog was stuffed in a folder in my center desk drawer. My existing hanging filing folders are actually over-stuffed, so I ran out of room to file my paid bills.? There is the occasional item that comes across my desk that I don?t know what I should do with, so I throw it in a make-shift in box.

The first Pendaflex product that I used is the Pilesmart Desktop Tray. Instead of having an unorganized drawer full of bills, I am using this item to organize bills for the year. My unpaid bills go in the top pile and once a bill is paid I will file it right in the same tray under ?car?, ?electric?, ?mortgage? or whatever the bill. Having this right on my desktop will make paying and organizing bills so much easier.
For the coupons that pile up on my desk, I decided to use the Expanding File with Sliding Cover. You may think this item would be way too big for a couple of little coupons, but not in my case! I have been known to go shopping with fliers, coupon inserts, and lists for different stores.? Sometimes, I have envelopes with coupons strictly for Target or Market Basket etc?? I would throw my inserts, envelopes and fliers into one bag and rifle through the mess to find what I was looking for. With this organizer, all of the stuff has a place where it will quickly be found.
The Pilesmart View Folders are being used for photographs and things I need to see, so that I am reminded that I need to do something with these things. My kids created these stickers and magnets out of their art work and I wanted to share these with family. I would like to hand out some of the kids photos, not to mention create some albums. These view folders will be a nice place to organize some of these things and to remind myself to get some of this stuff done.
The On the Go Desk Top File is ideal for all of my freelance writing and blog related items. I have an area for current and completed projects, business receipts, misc. blogging info. and more.? This could come with me when I travel. It?s perfect for keeping all that paperwork in place. 
Thanks to the SureHook Hanging Expandable File ,I no longer have a makeshift box overflowing with things I know I should keep but don?t know where to put. This is where I will file things like Street Hockey, Basketball and other sports related paperwork.? I have the kids school handbook and directory in here.? I also have some health care info., that I know I will need soon, filed in here.
The Surehook Reinforced Hanging Folders are being used for some of the kid?s artwork. These items will eventually be filed in the kid?s school boxes that they are keeping in their room for this school year. But at least while they are piling up here, at my desk, they have a home.
I wanted to test out my Rapid FREEZE Stapler to see if it could staple up to 30 pieces of paper. In my case, I have a 30 page document and while it got through them all, I don?t think the staple was secure enough to stay put. I am sure it will work fine for smaller jobs. I was overdue for a new stapler!
My Pilesmart Label Clips will come in handy to quickly identify more papers that I file in the Pilesmart Desktop Tray.? I look forward to using the GoldFibre Project Planner Notebook and the Divide-It-Up Multi-section Folders to maintain maximum organization.
Now that my space is more organized, I feel VERY? good and to further the payoff, I?ve freed up some time to do some of the things I?ve wanted to do like try some new recipes, plant some flowers outside in my planters, read a book on my Kindle and, of course,? spend some more time doing fun things with the kids!
