BOISE -- The team of Nampa Optimist football players whose jerseys were stolenThursday, will have a new ones just in time for their game on the blue turf Saturday.
Their coach told KTVB the jerseys were in a duffel bag in his car. After work, he came out and the duffel bag was gone.
???
Jacie Mattson, the manager at E-Z Money off Orchard and Emerald saw our story. Her son used to play optimist football so she decided she had to do something.
Mattson got a couple other local branches to chip in to buy the new set, and the team's coach is thrilled.
"He was very, very excited. Actually when I called the sporting goods store, they said it was going to take two weeks, and I was like, 'No we really, really need to get those done today. We'll do whatever it takes. Name your price,'" said Mattson.
The team will have their jerseys in time for the big game.
Nampa Police say they still have no suspects in this case.
