Local employee Ivan Krcmar recently received a 2012 Outstanding Manager of the Year Award from McDonald's Canada.
This award is presented to restaurant managers across Canada who have made a significant contribution to McDonald?s in the areas of customer service, staff training and development, coordinating local marketing programs and sales building. Each Outstanding Manager of the Year Award winner receives a commemorative plaque and shares of McDonald?s Corporation stock.

Krcmar began his five-year career with McDonald?s as a management trainee at the Tynehead McDonald?s restaurant in Surrey. Krcmar has held his current position as restaurant manager for the past two years and truly appreciates the opportunity to develop the leadership skills and abilities of his crew while helping them achieve success.
