High-tech product releases announced the week ending July 25 include the Canon EOS M mirrorless camera, Samsung?s MV900F WiFi-enabled smart camera, the first Android 1.4 smartphone to launch in China, Samsung?s flagship 75? Smart TV, and Sony?s range of portable wireless speakers.
Canon?s first mirrorless camera
The EOS M is Canon?s response to the growing market of compact yet full-featured mirrorless cameras. It features an 18.0 MP APS-C CMOS (APS-C) Sensor, Full HD movie capture with Focus Tracking, manual exposure control, a 3.0? touchscreen LCD, touch autofocus and multi-touch operation, plus is compatible with existing Canon EF and EF-S lenses. The EOS M Digital Camera will hit stores in October priced from $799.99 with the new EF-M 22mm f/2 STM kit lens.

A WiFi-enabled smart camera
Samsung?s MV900F makes shooting and sharing photos a breeze with built-in WiFi and a 180 degree 3.3? flip-out touchscreen display. The compact point-and-shoot camera features a F2.5 bright lens, a 16.3MP BSI CMOS sensor, x5 optical zoom and a 25mm lens. It comes with lots of creative effects including a ?virtual make-up bag? that lets you smooth your model?s skin and add make-up-like touches of color on camera. First Android 4.1 phone to launch in China
The ZTE N880E is the first smartphone in China, and the third handset in the world, to run Google?s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The ZTE N880E features the ?Google Experience? version of the OS along with a 4? capacitive (480 x 800) WVGA touchscreen, a 1GHz Qualcomm 7627A processor, 4GB of memory, a 1650mAh battery and a 3.2MP AutoFocus camera. ZTE did not announce pricing for the N880E, which is available now in China.

Sony has released three portable wireless speakers, the SA-NS310, SA-NS410 and SA-NS510, that come with built-in WiFi and AirPlay so you can stream music from your PC, iPhone, iPod, iPad or Android smartphone without fumbling for a cable. The speakers feature a 360 degree design and are made to be easily transported from one room to another. The 510 model also comes with a rechargeable battery (for up to five hours of on-the-go music). All three models are available now with prices starting from ?150 (?190).
