So I've found myself in another slump of needing something to brighten my day, so I decided to head over this way and give search for a partner a go! I'd really like to do a story with just one other person, but I can be convinced to do group rps if there is enough interest in the story, so feel free to try to coax or bribe me :). As for me, I've been an rper for quite a few years now, probably way more than I should have, and I like to consider myself someone who has advanced rping skills but likes to take a more casual approach to rping. Mind you, I'm not being lazy, I just believe that stories should be fun, non-stressful, and enjoyable for both parties involved.
As for rules about my stories, I say these things:
1. Have fun.
2. Kill many, many things.
3. Do it in entertaining, inventive ways. :)
That's all.
As for me, I play every creature/gender under the sun so I can normally fit into most roles when someone comes up with a plot that needs a specific slot filled. With that being said, I have a plethora of pre-made characters all lined up for stories, so it shouldn't take me long to find one to fit a specific role. As for pairing characters, I have no preference and allow all pairings. Now, onto the current genres I'm interested in! You'll find three short plots that I want to do, followed by a list of things I would be willing to do at the end. As always, feel free to suggest!
Modern
The Brothers Grimm- Here, the descendant of the original Grimm brothers is being initiated into the 'family' business: hunting, tracking, and recording the movement of mythical beasts/beasts throughout the world. Thankfully, there's now a small organization devoted to this, so they'll have backup, a home base, and some starting training. Its an open plot with room for growth.
Death By Analysis-
Based off a story I'm working on, you'll be basically helping me flesh out my main guy, Samuel Oliver Guise. Guise goes in search of an awesome therapist who can help him reconnect and fell more human. Problem with that whole human part is that Sam, well, isn't human...anymore. This will have some great character interaction, and I'm really looking for someone who wants to 'get to know' a character, as there is going to quite a bit of back and forth between them.
Medieval
Death Before Dishonor
Pride can make people do stupid things. Really, really stupid things. In another story based off one I've worked on, a team of would be warriors comprised of mostly misfit and failed mercenaries decides to take on an impossible task: finding and destroying dragons in their home land of Wheldun (...go ahead, think about it). Here, we'd be playing two characters and their counterparts going on this seemingly impossible task, fighting all odds to either win big or die trying. Expect a lot of comedy out of this rp!
Other Generic Rps
Monster/demon hunters or slayers (playing on either side of the battle)
Just about anything involving werewolves (of the snarling will eat you kind)
Zombie Apocalypses are always welcome.
Love me a good fairy tale/myth inspired story.
Fantasy w/ high adventure is epic.
Sci-fi and futristic rps rock my socks, and I have a few ideas for this one with kind of a Halo-esc feel.

I just like to get the details out of the way as quickly as possible!
