Yu-Gi-Oh: ?? ?; ?? ???? ??!

Before I kind explain what this post/Rp interest is going to be about. Let me just translate the tital and give kind of a short history leason (For those who are don't know). The words in kanji and hiragana is "Daimyo senso; Akame nitaishite Aoime!" (Daimyo war; Red eyes against Blue Eyes!)

A Daimyo is/was a tital given to a warlord /ruler during the fudual japan era. These Daimyos waged war againts one another in hopes of gaining territory and power. If a Daimyo proofs him self worthy (and beats the current Shogun I belive) they become the new shogun. Now a shogun was the main warfair and political head during that time (And was basicly gone during the Meiji peroid.

Like I said short and I hope those who didn't know what a Daimyo is, know now.

So to the plot and setting. This Role play would be based in an alternet yugioh universe and a underground culter and of tradition has been going on for decades. During the Meiji peroid Bushido (Way of the samurai/warrior) was basicly banned. The samurai was at an end after years of tradition. But the samurai didn't give up. They tried to hold onto Bushido as long as they could be failed in the end. So years later two things have been discovered that would revive the spirit of the decendends of the samurai. Duel monsters and Yami no G?mu (Dark games). Many decendends have found these two and used their powers to reform Bushido and reform clans. But Bushido has been changed to Kadodo (Way of the card kado = card do = way) holding the same ideas of old Bushido just focus on the use of cards than of martial arts.

So these new Daimyos surnames have changed into words representing the archtypes they started. (example Akame is red eyes and Aoime is blue eyes) Now in modern japan, two rivaled Daimyos fight for their worth the city of ???? (Doragon) to see who will have control.

Now I hope that's a good introduction and depth plot to the story giving an idea of what to suspect. There are somethings I will be posting that will have importance to OOC and anwser and future questions. But this question I know that will come "Why not just make a RP of modern Daimyos really fighting"

Answer: Because I find yugioh is a very interesting thing. Not because I still at times play the card games, but the show has an interesting concept behind it of summoning monsters to fight in a tatical battle. But when put to work in RP mostly turns into failed attempts (I've yet to see a single one hardly even start)
