Evernote for Windows adds Activity Stream for spotting changes at a glance

An update to Evernote for Windows adds a new feature called Activity Stream that makes it easier to know when your shared notebooks have been edited. A new satellite dish icon in the menu bar is home to a numbered badge that gets incremented any time someone makes a change. Clicking the icon drops down a list of recent changes, like shares and edits, as well as quick actions you might want to take ? such as adding a new note, searching your existing ones, or sharing a notebook. The updated app also downloads newly-shared notebooks directly to your computer for you, automatically. The new version of Evernote for Windows (4.5.7) is available now from the company's site.
