Provision of healthy recreation and sports facilities to youth were ...

Peshawar ,? Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Amir Haidar Khan Hoti has said that provision of healthy recreation and sports facilities to youth were part of priorities of the government and generous funds are being spending on sports grounds and other facilities.

He said that flood lights installation work in Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium will commence in upcoming financial year.

He said that new projects for development and promotion of tourism in attractive and naturally beautiful areas will also be initiated. He was talking to Provincial Sports Minister Syed Aaqel Shah at his office on Tuesday.

Provincial Secretary for Sports and Tourism Syed Jamal ud Din was also present on the occasion. Matters pertaining to progress on ongoing schemes in tourism and sports sectors and initiation of new schemes in forthcoming annual development program were discussed in detail during the meeting.

The CM said that motivating youth to healthy and positive activities is demand of time in order to defeat extremism. He said that Allah has blessed our province with immense natural beauty and tourism has a central role in stability of provincial economy.

He agreed to proposals of the provincial minister for promotion of tourism and issued directives for finalizing entire new schemes in this connection in order that are to be included in forthcoming ADP. The CM was apprised of future activities under tourism department on the occasion. The CM lauded efforts of the department for arranging various festivals in different areas.

Meanwhile Provincial Minister For Social Welfare And Development, Sitara Ayaz was also called on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haidar Khan Hoti at his office. Matters pertaining to performance of her department and future projects remained under discussion on the occasion.
