Come hear Alexey Sokolin (MBA ?13, JD ?13) speak about the fundamentals of paying off student loan debt, investing, and money management. His talk will focus on whether to pay off educational debt early or not (and that decision?s impact on your future employment flexibility), how to choose and evaluate 401k plans and mutual funds for your investing goals, and, more broadly, how to manage your finances responsibly after graduation while planning for retirement and other major life events.

Alexey is the founder of NestEgg (www.nesteggwealth.com), a startup devoted to simplifying investing without sacrificing quality advice.?While pursuing his J.D./MBA at Columbia University, Alexey worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. Previously, he was an assistant vice president at Barclays Wealth where he focused on the economics of new ventures and management of the group?s profitability. Prior to Barclays, Alexey was at Lehman Brothers in the investment management division. He received his B.A. cum laude from Amherst College, where he studied economics and law. Alexey has taken and passed Level I and Level II CFA examinations.
