The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is currently accepting applications from small business owners in the greater Philadelphia area.This training program is designed to help small business owners develop valuable skills to grow their business, with information about accessing financial capital and powerful networking opportunities?at no cost.
Now through July 22, 2013, Community College of Philadelphia is accepting applications for classes that begin in September. Participants can expect to receive a practical business education where the coursework can be applied directly to their business after each session, as well as one-on-one business coaching and a dynamic network of peers and experts.?
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to growing their business and creating jobs within their community. Business owners eligible to apply for the program should generally have been in business for two years or more, and typically have at least four employees and a revenue stream of $150,000 to $4 million per year.
Small business owners interested in applying to the education program at Community College of Philadelphia should visit www.ccp.edu/10ksb, contact 10ksb@ccp.edu or 267-299-5900, or attend an information session at the College on July 10 at 8:30 a.m. at 1751 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130.
At this session, business owners will get the details about the 11-week business education training program, business support services and 10,000 Small Businesses loans available through PIDC and Community First Fund (through a separate application process).
