If it?s the first Sunday in December, then expect what?s known as Old Mechanicsville to be filled with excitement. That?s because Santa Claus will be in town. With participants stepping off at 3 p.m. on Dec. 2, the 2012 Mechanicsville Christmas Parade will start its usual route through the village?s streets.
