Marketing Podcast is Rebranded for Business Publications and ...

Madison, WI (PRWEB) February 9, 2006

The only thing more confusing to small businesses than marketing or technology is when they come together. That is why a column called Wisetalk has been a popular addition to print and online business magazines since 2002. Starting in February, business editors can receive a customized version of the WiseTalk podcast to distribute on their own web site.

Wisetalk, a monthly column of marketing and tech-savvy tips from Troy Janisch began in 2002 as a free resource for small businesses who cautious about expanding their marketing efforts online. Now, the monthly podcast and column is widely distributed on the Internet and in small business oriented print publications.

At the time I started writing the column, we were doing a lot of high-end internet and marketing projects for large corporations, Janisch said. Small businesses had the same marketing and technology needs, but didnt offer budgets large enough to garner the expertise they needed among most online marketing leaders. Wisetalk was created to prevent avoidable mistakes.

Janisch, an experienced internet developer, entrepreneur and marketer with a masters degree in communication, writes on topics such as pay-per-click advertising, search engines, web site development, and technology innovations that help small business.

In February, the Wisetalk column/episode entitled Local TV Advertising: Super Bowl vs Super Bargain features an online Advertising Agency called Spot Runner that enables local businesses to create TV commercials for less than $ 500 and run them in their local community for $ 50 or less per spot on major cable TV networks.

Januarys column/episode entitled Google Says ?No Thanks? to New Sites explained to business owners why their web sites arent showing up on Google, despite their best efforts.

Topics for each column or episode come from readers, Janisch said. Theyre either asking How can I do this? or What is going on? as it relates to how they sell their products or use the Internet. Wisetalk provides the answers. It features cost-effective alternatives and competitive approaches to the way we address the same problems for large companies.

Editors who are interested in adding Wisetalk to their publication or web portal can visit http://www.iconinteractive.com to preview previous articles and episodes. To add their publication to the Wisetalk distribution list, or to inquire about a customized podcast, they can contact the author by email at info @ iconinteractive.com.
