Android 3.1 Honeycomb expected to roll-out to ... - Inside Cellphone

While we have already seen some of the Motorola Xoom tablets get an upgrade to Android 3.1 Honeycomb, it looks like those sporting an Eee Pad Transformer may soon get the same little gift. The report is coming by way of ?This is my next? who are reporting that their sources have confirmed that Honeycomb will arrive as an over-the-air update beginning next week. In addition, this further confirms the news that came out of Google I/O which stated that Acer and Asus tablets would begin seeing 3.1 in early June. Of course, as we saw with the Honeycomb update on the Xoom, the Transformer users will see mostly stability improvements in terms of changes. But hey, sometimes those are more welcomed than new features. Either way, if you have an Eee Pad Transformer, be on the lookout for an update notification to arrive next week.
